    Happy new year to everyone! Hoping that you had a great celebration and are looking forward to 2007 as much as we are 

Great news to start off the year is that Ronaldo Lemos succeeded Joi Ito as Chairperson of iCommons at the board meeting that was held in Berlin on the 30th of December. You can read more here: http://icommons.org/2006/12/31/ronaldo-lemos-is-icommons-new-chairman/

Ronaldo has some great ideas for iCommons in the new year - one of the most exciting projects will be to equip iCommons.org with the technology that has made www.overmundo.com.br one of the most successful citizen journalism sites in Brazil.
