Hi all,
first of all I want to thank iaxclient
developers for the 2.0.X release, and of
course for the support they gave me while
trying to build this new release.
My next step is trying to use in a production
environment the tcl C extensions developed by
Mats Bengtsson (contrib/tcl). Now in the same
env we're using the one based on ver 1.0 of iaxclient.
I know that Mats will update the contrib/tcl
stuff once I'll receive his brand new PowerBook ;)
in the meantime I just want to list what I've
done to makes tcl C extensions compile:
- iaxclient has to be installed (make install)
otherwise tcl extension's make fails
- patch contrib/tcl/iaxclient.c

with those the build phase successed, registration to
the server works (thanks Mihai) and I'm able to make a
call.
The problems that I'm experiencing is related to the audio.
Once the call is started I didn't hear nothing nor
the ring tone, nor the voice on the other side once
someone pickup the call (plus I'm not able to hang-up the
phone).
I really don't know if the problems is due to
contrib/tcl, not properly up to date, or something
else that I missed in the build stage of iaxclient and
the tcl's extension.
well that's all for now, I'll keep you
posted if I'll be able to solve those
problems somehow.
