ptcha/ is a site that sells commercial CAPTCHA-breaking
software.  It also shows success rates for different types
of CAPTCHAs.  While
the ratings are merely representative of this particular
site's software and
not a universal measure, it's interesting to note that
there's already a
commercial market for anti-CAPTCHA tools.

The other approach that I've heard of against such 
turing/human tests is that attackers have experimented with

mechanical turk style systems.

The complexity of some the captchas shown on this web-site
made me
think. We have gone to such extents to prevent against
spammers. When
we should be prosecuting and hanging the spammers.
