nCipher says co-founder Nicko van Someren steps down from
board

bond (Thomson Financial) - Software company nCipher PLC said
co- 
founder Nicko van Someren will step down from the board on
Dec 31.

The company said van Someren was chief technology officer
for more  
than 11 years, but had reduced his working commitments
earlier in the  
year.

He has agreed to provide advice and support to the company
for the  
first six months of 2008, nCipher added.
The company said it expects to announce new executive
appointments in  
the new year.
