Hi
New versions of
'uw-imap/uw-imap-util/uw-imap-imapd/c-client' have been
uploaded
to a server near you.
Cygwin NEWS:
============
o New maintainer
o Switched to cygport build framework
o The imap daemon expects mail delivered to
/var/spool/mail/<username>
The original port used /var/mail/<username>
o This IMAP toolkit build is build with SSL and it disables
plaintext
passwords unless SSL/TLS encryption is in effect
(SSLTYPE=nopwd). This
produces an IMAP server which is compliant with RFC 3501
security
requirements. The old port was build with SSL but
plaintext passwords
were allowed in insecure sessions.
