I've updated the xerces-c version to 2.8.0-3. (2.8.0-2
appeared briefly
on the mirrors but was withdrawn)
xerces-c is a validating XML parser written in a portable
subset of C++
(it is also known as Xerces-C++). xerces-c makes it easy to
give your
application the ability to read and write XML data. A shared
library is
provided for parsing, generating, manipulating, and
validating XML
documents.
Changes since 2.8.0-1

* fixed packaging bug with postinstall scripts (reported by
Dr. Volker Zell)
* fixed packaging bug induced by upstream
'packageBinaries.pl'
script, which shamefully excluded the Cygwin-specific
public
header files from the staging area.
Because 2.8.0-1 was released only a short while ago, and was
a
significant change relative to the previous official cygwin
xerces-c
package (2.5.0-1), please review also these changes:

To update your installation, click on the "Install
Cygwin now" link on
the http://cygwin.com/ web
page. This downloads setup.exe to your
system. Then, run setup and answer all of the questions.
