Mail filtering to IMAP folders

Hello!

I'd like to filter my incoming mails into appropriate IMAP
folders at server 
level. I read in the archive that there isn't any bulk
solution within DBMail 
so I was wondering if there's any "unofficial but
widely embraced" solution 
to do this, or if you should start doing it by myself...
