I got this when server thread sort enabled on squirrelmail
1.4.9a

ERROR: Bad or malformed request.
Query: FETCH (FLAGS UID RFC822.SIZE INTERNALDATE
BODY.PEEK[HEADER.FIELDS
(Date To Cc From Subject X-Priority Importance Priority
Content-Type)])
Server responded: invalid message range specified

My imap server is : dbmail-2.2.1. For now I disable it.

Capability:
Server Capability response:
* CAPABILITY IMAP4 IMAP4rev1 AUTH=LOGIN ACL NAMESPACE
CHILDREN SORT QUOTA
THREAD=ORDEREDSUBJECT UNSELECT

Anyone use squirrelmail with dbmail here? what is
THREAD=ORDEREDSUBJECT?

WHAT SHOULD BE FETCHED? I THINK AFTER FETCH SHOULD BE 1 OR SOME
MESSAGEID'S TO FETCH.

I think squirrelmail only supports THREAD=REFERENCES
threading, which
dbmail doesn't support.

THREAD=ORDEREDSUBJECT?

THREAD=REFERENCES uses Message-ID and References headers for
building
threads.

THREAD=ORDEREDSUBJECT uses base-subjects for building
threads.

Base-subject is the Subject header minus all the cruft from
forwarding,
replying etc.

orderedsubject was quite simple to do after the
header-caching for 2.2
was in place.

references threading is very complex and therefor still a
todo.
