That actually *great*. No really! If you can reproduce this
in inetd mode, you
can provide me with a backtrace.
Could you:
a) rebuild dbmail with debugging symbols? (CFLAGS=+-g)
b) run the commands against the rebuild imapd binary:
grep COMMAND logfile > imapcommands.txt
vi imapcommands.txt (so only the real commands are left)
gdb ./dbmail-imapd
gdb> run -n < imapcommands.txt
crash
gdb> bt
