eGW uses a database to store all values, so at least it's
already in a
database. I have no idea if there are plans to integrate
eGW, I'd guess
it won't be a full integration, but they could would
together more
closely, that's why again I asked about the announcement
from 2006.
One example that comes to my mind is to extend the
"dbmail-users" table
with a "realname" field that stores the name of
the user, to be used in
eGW webmail.
