Thread: sieve redirect

sieve redirect
country flaguser name
Netherlands

I have a sieve script which contains an

redirect "userotherlocation"

If I send an email to the userourlocation the message
gets forwarded
as expected, however
the message header is changed.

The new "From" header now contains userourlocation and the "To"
header contains "userotherlocation".

Is this normal behaviour?
By doing this there might be vital information lost for some

customers, being the original sender?

Are there other, non destructive redirects possible?

Marc

There shouldn't be any rewriting of the message itself, just
a change of
the envelope information. Everything about the message
should be
completely untouched.
