Wait, wait, that bug is about load not data traffic. I think
you just need
to set a longer idle delay so that traffic is reduced back
to an
acceptable level for your mobile users.

Well I did have the default setting, 30 secs I think. But as
I 
understood from my graphs the network traffic had jumped
too, a lot.
