For the record, the problems I saw with the imap append
are gone. I copied over one mailbox (just a small one,
but plenty of attachments, plaintext, html messages) and
everything seems to be smooth so far, and I am excited.

So I guess my next question, related to imapd, will there
be some way, or is it planned, that when I do a search,
it will (or can be told to) only search the text/plain
or text/html parts? That would make search on huge
mailboxes likely usable.

I don't believe that there's any IMAP protocol support for
such a thing.

Ah, but since now we have everything broken in to mime
parts,
is there a way to build the body search (perhaps with an
extra flag in the table) such that the search only looks at
those records with real searchable text?
I don't think the IMAP command to search would change any,
just the query that is executed.

Sorry, I should have started this as a new thread...

Oh, and thanks for all the hard work, both Aaron and Paul,
and
all of the other contributors and testers. At our ISP we
keep
picking up "clients" that we host mail for because
our mail
system works so well, and they just can't keep something
running. All because of dbmail, and (sad to say) that's
even on
a 1.2 build in production!
Good job, guys.
