Hi People,

I have a webmail frontend installed, I can send out emails
from
there to any outbound email address.

As soon as I try to send mails via my evolution email
client, an
error message comes up telling me:

Recipient address rejected: Access denied

I can receive emails, and send via a locally on the
webserver in-
stalled webmail frontend.

I believe I tried to upgrade dbmail before, the problem
appeared,
I downgraded again, the problem disappeared, so it would be
really
fine if somebody could tell me, how I migrate.

Thank you fellows!

And a happy successfull new year!

Sascha

Seems like a postfix issue. Do you have a custom postfix
sql-script
installed that queries the database?

Keep in mind DBMail is only for mail delivery, not for
transport.
If you can receive mail through DBMail, then the migrate was
succesfull,
however your postfix setup has to be altered as well.

Best regards,

Marc Dirix

Oh, thank you very much, Marc!

I'm really able to receive mail. Thats really a mess.

But good, that I now was able to recognize the problem
a bit better.

Thank you!
