Maybe you can try reading through mailinglist history, and
only ask if  
you didn't find
the answer.


No, you can't revert back because the database backend is
different.
Turning back to 2.2.x would mean losing messages received
since you
went to 2.3.

If losing email is no problem for you, you can turn back
without
changing the schema.

You need to add "-g" to your CFLAGS while
building, and make sure you
don't run strip(1) over the binaries. Without debugging
symbols,
debugging is kind a like you know ahem _hard_ to do...
