Aight, and the world is using mysql5 ONLY...
Nope no translation in any kind is good. Noone needs special
chars. If u use
them take them in 8bit. Lots of ppl also using still mysql3
and 4.

Betreff: [Dbmail] mysql charset
Hi,
I'm migrating a 1.1 installation to 2.1 series. I notice
the default
charset in mysql is set to latin1, i've also noticed some
swedish charset.
Why not UTF-8? MySQL 5 has support for that.
Thanks,
Alex
