(PL/SQL) / oracle script and programming Junior Dev
Position open for motivated and skilled individual in
Vancouver, Washington. 

Requirements: 
• Fluent english; Communication is key to success of
candidate and project 
• Ability to modify existing MS Excel macros using
conventions and methods which are aligned to the
original programming style 
• Working experience of SQL (pl/sql) and Oracle
database querying methods 
• Uses methodical approach to solving problems 
• Demonstrates ability to research code solutions
independently, using reference material 
• Familiarity with Linux, Unix, or HPUX operating
environments 

Technical – Value Added: 
• Working knowledge of Perl 
• Working knowledge of structured programming
languages such as C++, 

Visual Basic 
• Expertise with Linux, Unix, or HPUX operating
environments

General position Expectations: 
• The successful candidate will routinely modify
existing MS Excel macros per customer’s request, using
conventions and methods which are aligned with the
original programming style unless explicitly requested
otherwise. 
• The successful candidate will maintain engagement
with subject matter experts from customer base to
support needs as the focus of their objectives
develop. 
• The successful candidate will maintain focus on
requested modifications and use time productively to
meet expectations at minimum and to exceed quality
expectations when possible. 
• The successful candidate will engage with the
subject matter experts to maintain a queue of tactical
objectives; remain engaged to the customers’ needs.
Regularly communicate both completed and near term
tactical objectives to the project manger. 
• The successful candidate will provide value to
subject matter experts by researching solutions
independently. 
• The successful candidate will be expected to notify
the project manager immediately if there is risk of
failing to meet the successful delivery of tactical
objectives. 
• The successful candidate will be professional in
communication with subject matter experts and extended
customer base while working at the customer’s site.
Attire should be appropriate for a casual business
environment. 
• The successful candidate will notify both the
subject matter experts and the project manager if the
candidate expects to be later than (30) minutes for
expected shift or not reporting into site due to need
for emergency absence. If emergency absence is greater
than (1) day, then it is expected that the appropriate
agency personell contact be notified as well. Planned
leaves of absence must be requested through proper
personell processes and project manager must be
notified.
