Hi,

Just pointing out that this original issue is now mostly
resolved in the
darcs unstable branch.

We haven't yet implemented the full breadth of Yitzchak's
proposal, but
the core idea that paths for some darcs commands (e.g. add,
remove) are
inherently local.  You can now put ':' in file names if you
want.
