Did you ever get this working on your M-Audio Soundcard?

We have an M-Audio Delta44 card with 4 audio inputs that we
are trying
to stream as 2 stereo streams to shoutcast.

As long as I start one darkice instance at a time,
everything works
fine. But if I start the second instance it locks because
the device is
in use.

Can you please send the darckice and asound config that you
used to make
this work.
