New maintainer for update-manager needs help

Hi,

I [1]volunteered last week to help maintaining
update-manager and  
update-notifier, with the immediate goal of fixing the [2]RC
bug that  
kicked them out of Lenny.

I would be grateful if I could be added to the pkg-gnome
alioth team,  
in order to be able to commit directly my work there.

In the meantime, I have a NMU package ready, but I need help
to get  
it into the archive: as a DM, I can't upload a package for
which I  
have not been approved.

Therefore, I would be grateful if someone could review and
upload the  
source package available here:

/u/update- 
manager/update-manager_0.68.debian-4.1.dsc

It fixes the only RC bug in update-manager. I've discussed
the fix  
with Gustavo Noronha Silva, who was last in charge.

I also include the corresponding svn diff.

Of course, any comment on the fix or integrating the team is
welcome.
