SoC: Making Ruby Gems Compatible with dpkg

Hi,

There is a project proposal in the Summer of Code with the
title in the
subject. There is no mentor for it, if you are interested in
this maybe
some DD here can join the mentor ranks, review the
application and see
if he wants to mentor it?

Actually, I was the one who proposed it and wanting to
mentor it. I'm
listed as mentor on the wiki, actually.

Anyway, since a bit of my time is being taken completely by
DebConf now,
I'm a bit lagged with Debian work.

If you want this proposal to have a chance try to get 10
minutes, read
through it and maybe set it to say you want to mentor it.

We will have a discussion between mentors to discuss the
proposals and
agree on the final decisions, but it will help us now if you
could state
your intentions sooner rather than later.
