Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package
"beep-media-player-musepack".

* Package name    : beep-media-player-musepack
  Version         : 1.2-1
  Upstream Author : Andree Buschmann, Frank Klemm, Peter
Pawlowski, Benoit Amiaux and Miles Egan <musepackgmail.com>
* URL             : http://www.musepack.net/
* License         : BSD
  Section         : sound

It builds these binary packages:
beep-media-player-musepack - Bmp plugin to read Musepack
(MPC) files

The package is lintian clean.

The upload would fix these bugs: 333085

The package can be found on mentors.debian.net:
- URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/mai
n/b/beep-media-player-musepack
- Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debia
n.net/debian unstable main contrib non-free
- dget http
://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/b/beep-media-player-m
usepack/beep-media-player-musepack_1.2-1.dsc

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.

Kind regards
 Adam Cécile

This package should't be uploaded because beep-media-player
will be
removed soon. If it works with audacious or bmpx, please
rename the
binary package.

It will? Why is that? There is no Serious bug filed against
it.

Because beep-media-player is abandoned by upstream, some of
them forked
of as bmpx which is already in Debian, and some of them
continue as
audacious which is the very same source as
beep-media-player, but with
bugfixes.

As soon as audacious enters testing, beep-media-player can
be removed
(which is also in agreement if its maintainers).
