SMTP Authorization

Good Morning!

   Hmmm, that did not work, either.

   Any one else have a suggestion?

Some mail servers require a POP connection before SMTP,
maybe that's it.

Good Morning!

   I have switched ISPs. Now using Verizon.net.

   I have written an app that emails a result (my
WanIPMailer.) Worked
well with the old ISP, but with Veizon, I get
"Authorization Required",
even though I am providing the username and password. I am
now using
IdSMTP. Delphi 6. Win XP SP 2.

   Does anyone know how to provide the credentials that
Verizon is
looking for?
