Object streaming

Am looking for examples for complex component streaming to a file,
particularly how to create a component that contains other components
and saving that structure and their published properties to file and
then re-creating that component later

The best description I've seen on the topic is an article by Chris
Lichti that demonstrates how to save states using streaming by
modelling descendants of TPersistent and TComponent.

His PegBoard demo program where he shows how to effortlessly save the
entire state of the pegboard game with virtually no effort is very
enlightening.
