client  in Chennai on the following skill sets.
Job Title: Senior Executive / Manager - Business Development
 
Position Summary 
 
This position involves a focused approach to sales through
which we aim
to get projects / provision resource. The role deals with
identifying
new business opportunities ("hunter")
understanding and identifying
customer needs, presenting solutions and effectively closing
deals. 
 
Job Responsibilities: 
                               . Territory Management:
develop territory
plan for assigned geography 
                               . Lead Management: identify,
research and
prioritize target accounts 
                               . Needs Management: Complete
account
plans and needs assessment 
                               . Relationship Management:
Develop
customer relationships with key decision makers. 
                               . Utilize consultative
selling techniques
that apply solutions across the board 
                               . Determine engagement
methodology and
approach to customer 
                               . Proposal Management: Manage
the
proposal process (RFQ, RFI, RFP's) and get all approvals
(pricing CMO
etc) 
                               . Closing sales through
effective
negotiation 
                               . Documenting sales
activities and
conducting business reviews. 
                               . All Mandatory

Job Description:
                                                        
                                               . Research
and profile
targeted companies to identify key contacts and
opportunities
                                               . Outbound
calling to
database prospects and prospective customer lists
                                               . Follow-up
on leads from
web site, advertising, and trade shows
                                               . Generate,
develop, and
close new business and business partnerships in a specific
geographic or
vertical market
                                               . Meet
quarterly and
annual objectives
                                               . Drive
opportunities
through sales cycles to deal closure
                                               . Penetrate
new markets
calling on senior management or executive directors
                                               . Forecast
accurately
based upon realistic opportunity assessments
                                               . Ensure 100%
customer
satisfaction with client base
                                               . Develop and
maintain
professional internal and external relationships in line
with Company
core values
                                               . Keep
up-to-date
knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive posture
of Company.
 
Experience Required (Yrs):  
 
                                       4-10 yrs of IT sales
experience. 
                                       Having sales
experience with US
clients is a plus.
  
Educational Qualification:  Graduate / MBA
