Sql Auth and multiple domains

is this an AD forest of domains....if it is, kerberos should
help here...from a network admin standpoint there should be
a way to allow an account to have access across multiple
domains in an AD forest...i think it just depends on where
in the forest hierarchy the account is created

Subject: [DOTNET-WINFORMS] Sql Auth and multiple domains

Here is a tricky one..

A friend of mine has a .NET 1.1 desktop app. It's deployed
in a company with
multiple domains. The desktop app uses Sql integrated
security, so as long
as you are logged into the domain that the Sql box is in,
you are fine and
can use the app.

However, some users are logged onto a different domain, but
they have an
account in the domain that the Sql server is in.

>From the desktop app, how can he ask for their
credientials so they are
authenticated against the Sql server?

Thanks,
Dave
