WindowState Maxmized not working properly

Dear Listers,

On my main Form (.Net 2.0) I have set the WindowState
property to
Maximized, but the form does not fill the entire screen: at
the top there
is still some space left.

Windows considers this window as maximized alright, it shows
the proper
icon for 'Restore Down'. If I minimize the form and
maximize it again I
get the same result: some space left at the top of the
screen.

Has anybody seen this before? Is it a bug? Any workarounds?

What kind of monitor are you using?

With some monitors, it can appear that there is still space
above the form,
yet it is maximized.  Just a thought.
