Hello all,
First, I have a version 9.0.2 universal server - I hope this
question is
not out of the context of this maillist though... (my
apologies if so).
Is there a way to configure the read-timeout on connections,
so that too
many concurrent (yet idle) connections do not consume all of
my
100-connection (license) limit? Or perhaps one for max
keep-alive value
(one and same by some measures)?
I frequently get a condition where (seemingly) the same
player clients
have many connections open to the server (as reported by
netstat), and
I'm sure that not all of these are actively being used...
So whether
they are orphan connections waiting on a read-timeout, or
just errant
keep-alive sessions, I want to close them if after a
max-interval of no
activity (actual playback activity, not K-A pings). I don't
see a
control for this under the web-admin 'Connection Control'
screen, nor in
rmservr.cfg...
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in
advance!!
ken
