stream video from a SIP source?

Hello all!

I need to replicate a video+audio stream that is coming from
a SIP call.
I am looking at different possibilities, and trying to find
if someone has
done this before already.

I hope this is the right place to ask!

I see Helix support SDP & RTP, so I am thinking maybe I
could make a glue
application that acts like a SIP client in one side and just
forward the RTP
stream to Helix in the other side.

But both the SIP & SDP protocols are kind of new to me
so i am not entirely
confident with all of their little details or if it would
even be
possible to just
forward the RTP feed from the SIP source in this way.

So, anyone have a suggestion of a solution? I've been
looking around for
a long time now on the web for solutions to this problem. I
found 2 or so
software that claims to solve the problem:

http://www.ericpol.pl/index.php/en/network
_migration/sip_rtsp_gateway/
http://www.radvision.com/Products/Developer/Pro
tocol/AdvancedRTP/

These might be an option, but I want to ask the question
here anyway.
Also, the ability for Helix to act as a SIP client to be
able to replicate
various live feeds would be a killer feature of Helix IMO

/Martin
