A ground breaking partnership has emerged in Vietnam, Laos and
Cambodia to harness the best of the business world and development
sector to drive economic growth and lift millions of people out of
poverty.
By applying leading edge business strategies and development practice
to real markets in the most challenging settings we aim to help poor
countries prioritize the development of markets in ways to help
people escape poverty.
We judge our performance on the rates of return on public and private
sector investment, and our main measure of success will be the
numbers of people leaving poverty - for good.
Since 2004 we have been proving this approach and are now scaling up
our activities into two lead programmes, a regional bamboo sector
development programme, and a market portfolio and strategy programme.
We are now building a team of skilled and determined men and women to
deliver long-lasting targeted economic development and poverty
solutions for millions over the next decade.
With around 20 international roles and 25 national roles to fill, we
are looking for proven leaders and rising stars with experience in:
Market Analysis & Strategy
Project Management
Investment Analysis
Agricultural Commodity Markets
Business Management
Industrial Crop Production & Technology
Finance
Operations Management
Change Management
Industrial & Economic Policy & Strategy
Private Sector Development
Economic/Poverty Impact Research
Research Design & Statistics
Information Systems & Database Development
If you don't have experience in any of these areas but strongly
believe that you have something to offer then we'd also like to hear
from you.
You will be among the brightest and best at what you do, with
exceptional professional skills, a passion for excellence and a
natural team player generating and collaborating on new ideas. You
will be adaptable and highly effective in new and challenging
environments. You will also be highly regarded for your energy and
determination to get things done with a record of achievement to
prove it.
Roles will based initially in Hanoi with travel around the Indochina
region and internationally.
