Project Director, TVET, West Bank Country Office
The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Program (TVET) is
a four year program seeking to improve non-governmental technical and
vocational education and training in the West Bank and Gaza.
The Project Director will be responsible for the overall management
of the project. S/he will supervise implementation and ensure the
project meets goals; that implementation moves forward and issues are
promptly resolved.
S/he will also serve as the main representative of the project and
the principal interlocutor with USAID/WBG, and other local and
international counterparts in consultation with the SC DCD and CD.
REQUIREMENTS
An advanced degree in a relevant field from an accredited university,
preferably in Education (Vocational Education highly preferred).
10 years international development experience with 5-7 years
experience in vocational education programs in developing countries,
preferably in complex conflict settings.
Experience in managing large field programs with multiple local and
international partners, with expertise in scaling up programs in
complex environments.
Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, management, and budgeting
($8 million over four years).
Ability to travel throughout the West Bank and Gaza

Manager, Housing Projects, Indonesia
Assess, plan and implement construction, erection and retrofitting.
Ensure proper design, approach and preparation for
construction/erection/retrofitting of houses, schools, clinics are in
place.
Supervise Field Engineers and Coordinators assigned in districts.
Ensure quality standards are adhered to in construction activities.
Monitor progress of construction / erection / retrofitting prior to
payment
REQUIREMENTS
BS degree or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience.
On-site supervision and management experience of construction
projects .
SE Asia experience preferred
Experience in assessment, planning, implementation, developing bill
of quantities and specifications
Experience in community mobilization and execution of construction
works
Extensive knowledge of construction methods both traditional and pre-
fab
Knowledge of all aspects of construction including carpentry,
masonry, plumbing and electricity for both traditional and prefab
structures.
Assessment, site preparation and execution experience
Management of contractors against contract experience

Sr. Specialist, Appreciative Community Mobilization, Aceh, Indonesia
Provide leadership in the promotion and capacity-building for
Appreciative Community Mobilization (ACM) as the common approach for
an integrated, community-based program in Aceh.
Coordinate ACM integrated activities, monitor implementation of the
ACM plan and budget, and provide on-site guidance and training at the
district and provincial levels.
ACM will be a key strategy for achieving program quality, ensuring
effective integration of sectoral programs and development of close
partnerships with selected community structures.
This position will be critical to enhancing and sustaining program
quality.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should possess a university degree (B.A. and/or M.A.) in
Community Development or related field.
Work experience should include at least 5 -7 years of field
experience working with and training community groups and field staff
in program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and 5
years experience in application of Appreciative Inquiry concepts and
skills.
