I am trying to compile 'libgcrypt' on ubuntu, but I get this
error:

Can you please tell tell me how to fix it? I have download,
make,
install libgpg-error-1.5, but it does not help.

You need to install the libgpg-error-dev package. 
Libgcrypt's configure
script should have stopped with an error explaining that
libgpg-error is
required.
