When I just use button in panel now, it often only shows a
few entries
and gets cut off, not showing the full list anymore, so i
have to
scroll down to actually see the other ones.
i have 2.19.3.
how to fix?

2.19.3 is and old version of Deskbar, I'm currently working
on big
changes in Deskbar. 2.19.5 is the first version which
features some of
the changes I made, including a new GUI.

Ok, I recompiled the .src.rpm for fedora 8 and installed
2.19.5. I
just did rpmbuild --rebuild for the .src.rpm.
Is it possible to disable the popup window in the middle of
the
screen when you use deskbar applet now?
Also, after I use it, it stays right there in the middle of
the screen.
And lastly, the gmail plugin no longer is listed.

There's only this window now.

So you can't close the window?

It's a 3rd-party plugin afaik. The Module API has changed
and will
continue to change the next few weeks, so old modules won't
work
anymore. I'll write a guide that describes how to write
modules for the
new API once I'm happy with the API.

I'm a bit confused, you don't think it's an issue every
single time
you use deskbar applet say, to open a web browser, to alt
tab back and
close the deskbar window... every single time?

If I understand you correctly you want Deskbar to close
after you
selected a match, right? Maybe I add option whether to
enable or disable
this kind of feature,

Yes, that is exactly what I was wondering about. It makes
it far more
efficient, in my opinion, to do so.

included it.
