    Hi all,

I9;m using directfb (1.0.0) on arm (TI DaVinci) and I have some problems when displaying images:
it is very slow to display a still picture in the background (I can check it if I do a loop to change the background picture for example), and when I try to display an animated gif (using IDirectFBVideoProvider) the resulting animation is much slower than the original ...

Is it because there is no hardware acceleration or maybe there is a specific way to do that.
