I have been asked what response or feedback I've received
from Adobe in
relation to this survey. While they have not mentioned
specifics about how
this will affect the features they'll work on (and anything
along these
lines would be spoken under a confidentiality arrangement),
I can say that I
have been thanked by them and they are very appreciative of
the survey and
the results. So, they are paying attention.
>From my dealings with the people at Adobe Director, they
all seem committed
to the product and keen to address the needs of the
community. So, hopefully
this will show through when Director 11 is released. While
we should realise
that Director 11 won't be able to do everything the
community wants from it,
I am positive that it will move in the right direction -
becoming a stronger
product with an undeniable future.
