I've noticed this in IE in Flash recently, but wasn't sure
if this was a new
thing or has been there all along.
As far as I'm aware the key events aren't trapped as such,
Flash still got
them, but the page scrolled up/down as well which obviously
is annoying.
I think you can add some javascript to a page to trap the
browser detecting
the key press, but flash/shockwave should still detect it.
Let me know if you find out any more info on this.
Thanks,
Pascal.

I just had a user complain about arrow keys scrolling down
the web page when
the games are running. Has a recent update to IE or Firefox
introduced a key
trapping problem?
I know that the version of IE that comes with Vista has this
problem, but if
updates to IE in Windows XP introduce the same issues, this
may affect
numorous current Flash and Shockwave games.
I'm also wondering if this relates to the work-around many
of us are using
to get around ActiveX activation problem.
