your mac version lacks the pathdelimiter.

a better way of doing it would be:

mp = the moviepath
delim = the last char of mp
castLib("textos").Filename = mp &
"idiomas" & delim & gIDIOMA & delim  
& " textos_" & gIDIOMA

unfortunately you never know, if there are spaces in the
fullpath
spaces aren't the big problem with director. it handles them
quite well.
but long filenames and the length of the overall pathname
does  
matter, when you deploy x-plat.

It's more likely that his colon characters were stripped out
of the email, something I've seen happen a number of times
in mailing lists.

(test, these quotes contain a colon! ":")
