No. The general issue of Shockwave installers and the
changing list
of bundled XTRAs.
I've had a number of times when we simply could not install
shockwave
because of broken stuff on Macromedia/Adobe's end. There's
always
good reasons ("we sold the company") but the
timing has been
disastrous for me in every case. Apps that ran for years
suddenly
broke after an "upgrade" which didn't include
previous XTRAs.
And don't get me started on printing... But that's
Print-O-Matic's
fault, not Adobe's.
The real bummer is that the client is going with a
stand-alone app.
If we remove the Shockwave headaches, (and overhead)
Director would
be a stunning solution for this particular project.
Now let's get back to the oohs and aahs!
