Well Lon, you're not totally out, there are ways to convert
data, it
just won't be auto-magical like the case for linear lists
and arrays.
Note that those two were largely done to smooth SWC usage
but we have
plans on expanding the convert() function in the future -
allow generic
conversion of data between Lingo/JavaScript
syntax/ActionScript within
Director.
