I'm already used to Macromedia/Adobe "strange"
moves ...
As for Microsoft's Sparkle, I think is gonna be a little
shit.
A "rich design surface" with support for both
two-dimensional and three-dimensional design,
is not (and can't be) optimized for both of them.
As result: medium performances on both (2D and 3D)
environments.
Flash is gonna follow the same path if Adobe is planning
"3D in flash" ...

Oh really?

Not that i don't agree that we probably won't see the most
optimized  
and sophisticated solutions from both of them but may i ask
why this  
can't be optimized if someone had the intention to do so?
