just curious: do you also get that error -2147219502 in
lingo line:
    tx=w1.newtexture(pbj.modelname, #fromcastmember,
member(obj.url))
when testing with shockwave 8.x and
DisplayFullLingoErrorText=1?
if yes, do you have any explanation for why this error only
apperars in 
Shockwave 8.x, and not in Shockwave 10.x?
