Working with Multiple Lingo Programmers

Hi folks,

This is along the lines of the "external scripts"
thread. I'm interested to 
hear how others here work with multiple lingo programmers.
So far, I've 
always been the lone programmer in all my Dir/Shockwave
projects. But this 
upcoming year I'm going to have a lot on my plate and I'm
looking to 
possibly get another lingo programmer to help me out.

However, like I said I have no experience with this and I'm
not sure where 
to start. Do you mainly work with external scripts? What
about version 
control? Is there a way to keep certain code/scripts
private?

If anyone could nudge me in the right direction, it would be
appreciated.
