I tried to get the fullscreen xtra work in the browser too,
but it did
not work. No problems in
projectors.

Hm, a few minutes ago i tested IE and Firefox2.0 with
"Phosphor"
www.rasterwerks.com. In
the video options it is possible to select
"fullscreen". This worked a
few weeks or month ago
very well, but not today for some reason. The monitor
resulution
switched but the browser was not
centered correct, so the most of the screen was outside the
view.

Not sure how to fix this, and i did not found any example
code at
http://www.andradearts.co
m/ ?

May be it's not working on some computers, would be nice to
take a look
at some demos and
see what happens. I work with two monitors, maybe this
causes problems
when setting the
browser to fullscreen?

Would really like to know more about this topic!

regards!

it seems browser companies see fullscreen as a security
risk. going
fullscreen-no-browser-chrome used to be simple in ie for the
pc. now it is
at least hard to do. netscape doesn't allow it; they insist
on some browser
chrome. opera is nice that way; the f11 button is great in
opera. firefox
seems to insist on some browser chrome also.

I've been having this problem constantly (not 100% of the
time, maybe 25%)
on my computer creating my own content to the point where I
pulled
fullscreen from it.
I actually mailled Mark andradearts a few days ago
along with some source
code to see if he could help since this is really beginning
to bug me.
FWIW I've always thought (despite what the docs say) that
you have to call
the function to center the screen immediately after setting
the resolution
simply because it almost never worked on my computer before
- but now it's
down to the slightly less frequently going wrong that I have
now.

I do recall that Phosphor always used to work on my computer
(which made me
insanely jealous since my own code doesn't!) but if that no
longer works all
the time either, then.... well, I'm kinda stumped.
And hoping Mark gets back to me or us soon, because I really
really want
fullscreen, but can't unless it's 100% (har, on a PC? OK so
I'll settle for
slightly less than that!) reliable.

Just got this reply from Andrade Arts Support

"I took it down some time ago. I'll put it back up and
I'll send you a link
a bit later. FYI, it only works in IE 6 & FireFox PC.
No more support for
OSX any longer. Never tested in IE7"
Andrade Arts Support

Ill post the link if anybody is interested ...

I had the same problem here with not centering correct in
projectors, but
it was fixed by the centerstage... and I work with 2
monitors as well
All my browser attemts ends with a centered shockwave game
but no resolution
switches..

Ill keep on trying for a bit yet... and post any findings
