hi,
i'm workin on a car game with havok but i want perfect car
control.
so i only use havok for car cockpits
the hart of my car is a point i control by myself, i only
use havok for the cockpit, linked by a dashpot (and a
lingo-made reciproc) to the center.
Cockpit box doesn't collide floor, i use my own collision
routine (four spheres)
I need to store polygon in a space partition so my spheres
test few polygon lists
Should i use an octree-grid or bsp tree?
Which is faster?
octree seems to remove less unuseful polygons so bsp should
be faster but i'm not sure
I show a few octree and bsp collision demos in shockwave, i
didn't notice a big difference
Did someone compare both ?
