you can maybe build the functionality you are looking for
(beat-recognition,
etc.). Tracking "notes" and "voices"
in a single track is difficult, though?
Might be doable with lots of filtering but that sounds like
a lot of work...
or are you using multiple tracks/sound files for a single
song?
