Hi all,
The last couple of weeks I have noticed a big increase in
the number of
users complaining that they can't get Shockwave to work.
Initial investigating seem to indicate that the domain
fpdownload.macromedia.com could be the cause, since
Shockwave wants to grab
files from it (e.g:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/shock
wave10.1/xtras/MacroMix.carb) and
now the domain doesn't work properly for many users,
causing Shockwave to
grind to a halt.
Some users have no problems connecting, but others can't
reach the server.
The dns records are a bit of a mess, and I suspect this
could have something
to do with the Macromedia -> Adobe migration
