Epson Perfection V10 working

Hi,

I have just bought the scanner "Epson perfection
V10" and installed it with 
the rpm-packages available at www.avasys.jp and it works
without any 
problems.
Is it possible, to add this scanner to the sane-list?

Using driver epkowa, operating system suse linux 10.1.

If further details are wanted, just tell me.

Sane will only incorperate open source drivers, unless ava
are willing
to release their code under the gpl I don't think there is a
lot we
can do.

The SANE project is kind enough to provide information on
external
backends (regardless of license).  I've attached a diff of
iscan's
epkowa.desc against the version that's in CVS.  If some kind
soul with
commit privileges would be so kind to apply and commit this
...
