Strings clarification

I have a problem understanding the meaning of a few
messages. Could
anyone please help clarifying it?

# canon.c:476
"power on reset / bus device reset"

# canon.c:506
"initiator detected error message received"

# canon.c:519
"trancparency unit shading error"

# canon.c:462
"option not connect"
