Hi guys...got any fresh
ideas as to what may be causing this?
Thank
you,
Yiannis
Oh one detail about the setup I didn't mention in my
original email. The machine running OpenSwan acts is also
responsible for masquerade and has two public IP's and
one internal network.. I'm not sure whether this
might be responsible for OpenSwan not handing over to
l2tpd..
Thank
you,
Yiannis
Ok that worked..Openswan authenticates and I am now stuck with the original
issue of l2tpd
not picking up where Openswan leaves off..

XP...hmmm how does one go disabling IPSec on Win?
You need to enable
the automatic IPsec policy for L2TP/IPsec: http://www.jacco2.dds.nl/networking/win2000xp-freeswan.html#Installation
