COM Add-Ins problem

A workstation in my office had Spambayes installed and for some reason it is no longer working.  I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it, but for some reason under Tools, Options, Other ;Tab, Advanced Options and COM Add-Ins the box next to Spambayes does not stay checked off.  Can you help me figure out the problem so we can begin using this wonderful software again??   Thanks!   Heather L.
